November 22nd: Costa Rica to Panama

View of Panama City, Panama

In the last two days, we rode 400 miles from Buenos Aires, Costa Rica to Panama City, Panama. The Costa Rica/Panama border was a pretty easy border to cross. Our experience is paying off!

Panama City is not what I expected. I am not sure what I expected, but this city has been a pleasant surprise. There is a mix of extremely old, crumbling buildings mixed with meticulously restored buildings and modern, new buildings. The streets are brick-paved in some areas.

It is a little unreal that we rode our motorcycles here.

We are at the end of Central America, and in a few days, we will embark on a whole new Continent.

Stormy skies off in the distance on Las Lajas Playa in Panama.
