March 16th: Back to Reality
Now back home, taking time to reflect on our 4-month journey along the Pan American Highway.
February 29th: Almost home!
So close to the US border, and I get a flat rear tire. At least it’s an easy fix since I did bring tire tubes with me.
February 23rd: Getting closer to home
Getting closer to America, border crossings are becoming easier and we’re making good time travelling North.
February 16th: Back in Central America
Crossing back over the Darien Gap we ran into a paperwork nightmare in Panama that took days to sort out before continuing back North on the Pan American highway.
January 24th to January 30th in South America
It wouldn’t be a bike trip without a bike issue, and Dirty Larry is continuing to give me problems. From strangers to friends, the adventure continues!
January 20th: Stranded (kind of) in Lima

January 6-16: Long, hard riding days
Tough roads and weather while navigating across Argentina, Bolivia and Peru.
January 1-5: Near Year in Chile & Argentina
From mountains to plains, Argentina is a beautiful country.
December 27: Christmas in Chile
Christmas Day was spent riding through the Atacama Desert, continuing our journey south on the Pan-American Highway.
December 22: Hard fought miles through Peru
One of the hardest days on the road. Unfortunately, I did not take many pictures because my main focus was the ride.
December 5th: An Adventure to Quito
Bike problems plague Dirty Larry about 4 hours outside of Quito, Ecuador.
November 30th and Day 30 on the Road
Today marks 30 days on the road. We are making our way through Colombia, continuing the adventure on the Pan American Highway.
November 29th: Tragedy Strikes Again
The mountains in Colombia are beautiful, but the riding is a little sketchy.
November 27th: Crossing the Darién Gap
The Darién Gap is the missing link in the Pan American Highway. Air cargo is how we decided to navigate around this stretch in our journey.
