Riding all day, every day for an extended period of time gives you a lot of time to think. Here’s what is on my mind.
November 17th: The Nicaragua/Costa Rica border
Nine hours at the border. The heat and the political climate made for a very stressful day.

An unexpected challenge is presented to our team while in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua.
November 14th: Honduras to Nicaragua
The ride to the Nicaragua border was beautiful. The rest of the day was spent navigating paperwork between borders.
November 13th: Hot from El Salvador to Honduras
A hot and trying day with a border crossing. I did not take a ton of photos on this day so this is a rather short post.
November 12th: Guatemala to El Salvador
Lake Atitlan, Guatemala was a very nice break, but it’s time to get back on the road.
November 8th & 9th: Mexico to Guatemala
Crossing the border into Guatemala and are now riding on CA-1, which is THE Pan American Highway! Guatemala is nothing but windy and twisty roads. The views of the mountains and volcanoes are breathtaking. My ears popped several times climbing in altitude.
November 6th & 7th: One week on the road
We have been on the road for a week! Nearing the Mexico-Guatemala border.
November 5th: Potholes in Mexico
We took the shittiest road we’ve been on so far. It was a day of dodging, dipping, ducking, and dodging potholes everywhere.
November 3rd: Mexican drivers
Mexico drivers get it. They know how to merge. They get how to pass and let others pass. I’m really loving Mexico!
November 1st: The last night in the United States
The last night in the Untied States before being a guest in 12 countries along the Pan American Highway.
